From our own correspondent) The ordinary monthly meeting of the Naseby Borough Council, held on Monday, March 9th, was attended by His Worship the Mayor (Mr Keogh) Crs Strong, Templeton, More, Bremner and Hotton. The inward correspondence consisted of circulars from the Unemployment Board supplying information regarding the various schemes. The Health Inspector's report was received. Mr John Francis wrote for and was granted permission to put a pipe in the gutter at his garage. Mrs Jones wrote stating that her section in Oughter Street was not for sale, but that the bargain made with the Borough would stand good. The Early Settlers Association was granted permission to the use of the Recreation ground on Easter Monday. Mr Oscar Garden wrote intimating that he would visit Naseby in the near future. Mr G.
