EVIDENCE AS TO INSANITY.

Invbecabgill, This day. At the Supreme Oourt to-day a number of witnesses were called to prove that Keown had a fall from hie horse six years ago, and had never been the same man since. Evidenoe was given as to various eccentricities, and also that he had since been given greatly to drinking Hie wife stated that sometimes he amused himself with a piok-axe and butchers' knives to attack men whom he supposed were stealing his crops, bhe stated that he bad two or three times fixed hia horse up by the leg and itabbud and brutally beaten it; also that he had stabbed his son, Jamer, and that one of the accused's iona had been in an asylum. The case is still proceeding.
