Sidjtby, September 24. News from China states that steps are being taken to ereot a monument to the missionaries and families massacred at Kucheng.
bishop Daraot gives a thrilling aeoouot of the riots in the province of Sjeohuen, abutting on Thibet and Outer Mongolia, and says that during the work of destruction the tomb of Monsignor Dufuesse, one of the Bishops who was deoapitated over 70 years ago, was broken into and the skeleton of the martyr torn from its resting , place and the bones carried about the streets by the mob for the purpose of iutttier infuriating the people againet Obrietians.
