Buott, This day. The Mararoa arrived at 10 a.m. yesterday, having , made the fastest run on record —3 days 15 hours. She left Melbourno at f> p.m. on tho 4th. cleared tho Honds at 7.15 p.m., had moderate westerly winds and fino weather till tho Gtli, thenco a S.S.W. till arrival. No passengers for Napier. '.--■■ . The Tarawera sailed for Melbourno at 3.15 p.m. on Saturday, carrying 224 passengers, equal to 196 etatuto adults. Tho Excelsior, barque, from Newcastle, •with 586 tons of coal, arrived yesterday. Tho Omapere, with 585 tons of coal from ■ Greymouth, arrived on Saturday morning.
