New Plymouth, This day,
Sir Norman Campbell, of Kaikoura, has been on a visit to this district with respect to purchasing several blocks of land lying six miles east of Stratford, of between 70,000 and 80,000 acres, for a syndicate of English fanners, who are looking out for a district to settle in.
