Mr. Stannus Jones held a trade-sale of groceries, oilmen's stores, teas, sugars, J&c, at his mart to-day. There was a very good attendance, and satisfactory prices were obtained, considering the present depressed state of the market, Mr. Samuel Cochrane held a sale of land, houses, &c.',[ at his mart, Fort-street, at 12 o'clock to-day. The following properties were disposed of : — Lot 4, section 1, frontage to Ring' Road, Coromandel, 17s. per foot ; lots 30, 31, 32, and 33 of section 16, Coromandel, 2s per foot. Lot 116, Maketu, consisting of 10 acres, and town lot 84, Pokeno, together brought £13. Lot 2of subdivision of allotment 3, section 37, city of Aiickland, 25 feet frontage to Queen-street, and lot 29, 28 feet frontage to New-street, together brought £72. A four-roomed cottage fronting the Newton Road, near the Edinburgh Castle Hotel, with stable, out-house, &c,, and the allotment, having a frontage of 33 feet to Newton Road, by a depth of 99 feet, brought £115.
