No entry will be received for any ©f the races except upon this condition— that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or those whom they may appoint, aud their decision shall be final, and all law proceedings barred. 2. Victoria Racing Club Rules will be strictly dhered to. 3. No person will be qualified to enter for any race u< less a subscriber of at least three guineas to the Race Fund— Maori Kace exoppted, iv whioh a subscription of lsov. to the R*ce Fund will qualify. 4. Entrances must be forwarded, under cover, to the Secretary, at the Governor Bowen Hotel, Giaham's To«n, by seven o'clock p.m. on Monday, 15th March, 1869, for th« Ga'atea Cup, Shorfcland Purs», and Thames Plate (handicap), after whioh no entries under any will' be received, unless bearing the postmark of the 15nh March, 1869. Date of Bandicap and acceptances, and egneral entry, in a future advertisement. 6. No entries will be received unless the proper entrance money is enolosed, with tbe name, age, pedigree of the horse, and the colours of tbe rider.^ 6. Five per cent, will bo deducted from all win* nera towardi paying-expenses, 7. Any jockey riding except in colours entered will be fined 3 sow. - < . 8. In the event of any parson entering a protest, a sum of £5 must be lodged w ith the Clerk of the Scales before suoh protect is considered ; this sum to be forfeited to the funds- of the Meeting should the Stewards consider the proteit frivolous or vexatious. 9.
