In view of the fact that women are now chosen to act as jurors, and that lm.ny of them are supremely innocent of thn proceedings of a court of law, b! class has been formed at Acton for the instruction of women in their now duties (writes a London correspondent). Miss S. 11. Since, chairman of Acton District Council, and a Magistrate, has'formed a branch of the Women Citizens' Associa- ■' lion in the locality, and one of the first' forms its activities will take is the instruction of members in their duties as jurors. "We intend to have a few mock trials," Miss Since explained, "so that the students may get some idea of the procedure at criminal prosecutions,' tho administration of the oath, the form, in which' evidence is given, and 60 on. It must bo remembered that most women, have nevor 'been inside a court of justice, and many of them do not even know ttlji meaning of elementary legal terms. Theyhaye got to know, and 60 they must.bo taught..
