The elections for tho now Councils, though not yet complete, show poor voting. Many prominent members of the lute Legislative. Council have been elected, and the now Legislative Assembly will contain « largo percentage of moderates. The results of the nolle indicate that tho new Constitution lias every chance of success, in spite of the fact that a considerable amount of political influence, will remain outside the Council owing to Gandhi's non-co-operation propaganda. —Reutcr.
