SIR .WALTER. BUCHANAN'S RESIDENCE BURNED DOWN. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Carterton, June 26. Tho homestead of' Sir Walter Buchanan, "Tupurupuru," Gladstone, wat totally destroyed by fire at 2 o'clock this morning. The cause of the outbreak i; unknown, and the particulars to ham are meagre.
