Charles Cook, Warwick House, Memorial Scholarship, J. R. Pilbrow. Todd Motors Research Scholarship, S. Y. C. Lau. New Zealand Shipping Company Post-Graduate Scholarship in Engineering, T. P. Newell. Canterbury Frozen Meat Company Post-Graduate Scholarship in Engineering, H. Paltridge. Skellerup Industries Research Scholarship, P. H. Hume. National Electrical and Engineering Company, Limited, Research Scholarship, P. H. Hume. Christchurch City Counil Electricity Department Research Scholarships, P. D. Monro and H. Paltridge. Hume Industries Scholarships, J. R. Chivers and H. McC. Dickson. C. S. McCully Scholarship, I. K. Hill. Mr Ivor Francis, who has just completed his master’s degree in mathematics, has been awarded a Frank Knox memorial fellowship for two years at Harvard University. Apart from academic achievement, the fellowship is awarded for future promise, balanced judgment, keen discernment, and allegiance to democratic ideals.
