ACCIDENTS
INJURED BY FALL OF CONCRETE Charles Rough, aged 58 years, of 30 Tweed street, Richmond, suffered leg, back and hand injuries when struck by a fall of concrete while he was working as a carpenter at the Kaiapoi freezing works. He was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital, where his condition last night was reported to be satisfactory. CAR HITS POLE WANGANUI. December 3. A car containing seven members of the New Zealand Scottish Territorial units last night, when returning to Wanganui, ran off the road near Manakau and crashed into an electric light pole. All escaped with minor injuries. One. T. J. Cameron, is thought to have broken a forearm.
