The Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, M.P., was a passenger for Wellington by the steamer express last evening. The Hon. G. R. Hunter, M.L.C., was a passenger for Wellington last evening by the steamer express. Mr C. Morgan Williams, M.P., was a passenger for Wellington by the steamer express last evening. Sir Harry Batterbee, High Commissioner for the United Kingdom in New Zealand, arrived at Greymouth yesterday, by car, from Westport on his first visit to the West Coast. He was accompanied by. Lady Batterbee. They inspected the Grey river gold dredge at Ikamatua yesterday afternoon. The visitors were the guests at a civic reception in ( the Greymouth Municipal Chambers last evening.
