SERIES CLOSES FIRM

INFERIOR TYPES WEAK AND IRREGULAR

SYDNEY, June 9,

At the wool sales, 9594 bales wore offered and 6160 were sold, as well as 717 nrivatelv. The market closed firm at late rates for all well-grown wools. Other sorts were irregular and weaker. The average price of wool for the first three days of this week was £l2 4s 6d a bale, or 9.6 pence per lb, compared with £l2 11s 7d ana 9.9 a fortnight ago.
