NICK NACK CLUB HOLDS FAIR
This week honours go to the members of the Nick Hack Club, Hills road, who held a fair at the home of the leader, Marjorie Gwatkin, last Saturday afternoon. Though these girls had only been working for this fair for a short time they raised no Jess than £1 by their efforts. Of this sum 10s is to be devoted to the Christmas Mission, and 10s goes to “The Press Ship” cot fund. Stalls were in charge of the following:—Sweets, Doreen Robinson; Competitions, Marjorie Gwatkin; variety j Doreen Gwatkin. The thanks of Lady Gay apd “The Press” are due to Mrs Gwatkin for her kindness in lending her home for the fair. Once again, a mother to the fore!
