MEN’S LEGS BROKEN
INJURIES FROM SIMILAR CAUSES
Two men suffered broken legs in city premises yesterday afternoon by heavy objects falling on them. One of them, K. Thomas, of 977 Colombo street, was working at Brown’s flour mill when a sack of flour fell on him and broke a leg. He was taken to the Christchurch Public Hospital, where he was admitted late in the afternoon, and he is making satisfactory progress. The other accident happened earlier in the afternoon, at the Dry Cell Battery Company, in Tuam street, A case of zinc fell .on the left leg of Harry Cox, a youth employed there, and living at the Main South read, Sockburn. He was taken by the St John Ambulance to the Christchurch Public Hospital, and is also making satisfactory progress. .
