CONCERT IN CIVIC THEATRE In addition to a full performance of "Cavalleria Rusticana" at its concert in the Civic Theatre to-morrow evening, the Royal Christchurch Musical Society will present several selections t from "Faust" and "Tannhauser." From "Faust" the delightful waltz chorus, e the tenor solo "All hail thou Dwelle ing" the well-known "Soldiers 1 Chorus," and the "Church Scene".; will i be performed, Miss Nellie BiUcliff ~ singing the part of Margherita, -Miss r, Jean Scott that of Siebel, and Mr John 1 Thompson that of Mephistopheles. s From "Tannhauser," the "Pilgrims' " Chorus," the solo "Elizabeth's Prayer," 0 sung by Mrs Cara Tait, and the tenor solo "Star of Eve," sung by Mr Clive s Hindle, will be presented, accompahlt ments being played by Mr R. E. Lake - on the city organ. e Box plans for the concert are at->the D.I.C.
