INFECTIOUS DISEASES
Ten infectious diseases cases were : notified from Canterbury and tiie i West Coast to the Health Department in Christchurch last week. One of | these—a case of scarlet fever—was from the West Coas'-. The Canterbury cases included three of diphtheria, three of tuberculosis, one of pneumonic influenza, one of erysipelas, and one of septic abortion. Two deaths, both from tuberculosis, were notified, one being from Canterbury and the > other from the West Coast. j
