DROPPED DEAD.
(FBXBS ASSOCIATION TELEQBAM.) OAMARU, June 8. Mr R. Mahan, a member of the Borough Council, aged 66 years, dropped dead in the street on his way home to lunch. He was long associated with volunteering, and rose to the position of Major in the North Otago Battalion. He was a Past Master of the Waitaki Masonic Lodge.
