STREET OBSTRUCTION.
TO THE KDITOa OF 1!HB PBESS. Sir,—l have waited for many weeks to see if the public of this City would take action over the condition of affairs existing in Hereford street, close to Colombo street. May I ask through your valuable columns why a contractor is allowed not only to take the whole of the footpath but also, to park his motor-lorry for hours at a time in such a way that pedestrians using that side of the street are forced out into the middle of the road!— Yours, etc., CITIZEN.
