RESIDENCE DESTROYED. • (PBISS ASSOCIATION T iLKG&AU.) WAIPUKURAU, May 22. A six-roomed house owned by Mrs J. Davies and occupied by B. Nickalls tvas destroyed by fire at 9.30 this morning. Practically no furniture or personal effects were saved. The housp was situated outside the borough, and as no high-pressure water supply was available the brigade were helpless.
