CARS CRASH.
ACCIDENT IN VICTORIA STREET. A two-seater car, driven by Mr W. R. Simpson, was coming at a smart pace down ; Victoria street, about,. 3.15 o'clocks ytesterday afternoon, when it "crashed into a' five-seater sedan driven by Mr C. E. Gwatkin, who was driving east over Victoria street, along OxfoTd terrace. The collision was a sharp one, and Mr Gwatkin's c»r was hit broadside on, being jerked right over the kerbing on to the lawn in Victoria square. The body of _the- car was severely damaged on the left side, but both Mr Gwatkin and his passenger were unhurt. The other car received lesser injuries, including a smashed front mudguard, and a broken spring, but the driver was unhurt.
