NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
The annual meeting of the Cheviot branch of the Farmers' Union will be held in the Presbyterian Hall on Saturday night. *A meeting of the Bible in Schools League ■will be held in the Caledonian Hall on June sth. A V civic welcome to official guests to the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations will be given in the City Council Chamber at noon on Saturday.
