NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. ADDITIONAL PASSENGER TRAINS DURING CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS. FROM MONDAY, 22nd December, 1913, to MONDAY, sth January, 1914, both days inclusive (Sundays and Christmas Day, 25th December, excepted), the following additional passenger trains will run and. tho ordinary evening train for' North Lino and Branches will run as shown. An extra express train (no dining car), stopping at the same etations and for the same purposes as the 11.55 a.m. express train, will leave Christchurch for Timaru at 12.10 p.m., Timaru arrive 3.55 p.m. While this train is running the 11.55 a.m. express train.from Christchurch will not take passengers for stations up to Timaru inclusive. It will take passengers for Fairlie Branch. A train will leave Christchurch for Rangiora, except on Saturdays, at 5.20 p.m. The ordinary evening train for North Line and Branches will leave Christchurch at 5.50 p.m. On 22nd, 26th, 29th, 30th, end 31et December, and Ist and sth January, extra express trains (no dining car) will run between Christchurch and Timaru as follow;—Christchurch depart 9.10 a.m., Timaru arrive 12.20 p.m., Timaru depart (except on 26th December) 4.33 p.m., Christchurch arrive 7.45 p.m. On 26th December it will leave T_£_ru 5.20, Christchurcb arrive 8.42 p.m. The 9.10 a.m. extra express train from Christchurch will stop at the same stations and for the same purposes as the ordinary 8.0 ajn .express train.
