FIRES.
THE SYDNEY BLAZE. - INSURANCES TOTAL £50,000. SYDNEY, December 19. The fire in the Canada building is still smouldering. The -'Herald" says that the insurances on the main building amount to £50,000. including £22_0C0 with the New Zealand Fire Insurance Company, and that this amount -will -cover the loss. Other estimates of th© damage are considerably higher. . .-
