SWIMMING.
NEW ZEALAND COUNCIL. • The New Zealind Swimming Council met last night. Present—Messrs G. Harris (e-hairzaiia), F. Bowler (vics-president), F. Fat__m (Westland), G. Rich (South Canterbury), C. Bryant (Wanganui), H. S. Williams (Auckland), F. Stokes (Canterbury), J. h\ Pirsonson (Nelson* 1 , P N. Eundlo (Otago)" IL M. Vincent (Hawke's Bay), and J. p' Atkins (Wellington). On the motion of Mr Bryant,- on behalf of the Wanganui Club, it waa resolved that the affiliation foo for membership should be 10s 6d, irrespective of membership. The New Zealand Rowing Association wrote stating that it could not see its w_»y to support a proposal for New Zealand having separate representation at tho Olympic Games. nl"' v =, _ d _.
