Crozier, an application for an -{filiation order, Mr C&fisidy, who appeared for the plaintiff, said that his client had succeeded in an appeal to the Snpreme Court, and also on a mandamus. The fact that costs wero not paid was no ground for a stay of proceedings as against Myers. .Mr Eric Harper, who appeared for the defendant, contended .that before tho plaintiff could start a new case he must pay the cost of the previous case. A caso against S. K. Garrick* was adjourned to January 16th, and H. B. Day'was fined 20s and costs for driving a motor-cycle at too great a speed. Alexander Shaw, George Gilliat, and W. Olds: were each fined 20s and costs for riding motor-cycles beyond the speed limit.
