BUTTER AND CHEESE. Butter—Tho market is slow, and Danish is unchanged and colonial weak Australian 116s to 118s, very * exceptional 120s. New Zealand is exhausted, and 120s landed is asked for the Athenic's cargo, due on the 30th inst.
Cheese—The market is firm but unchanged. WHEAT AND FLOUR. Wheat—The, market is lifeless. There is absolutely no speculation, and millers are pursuing a hand-to-mouth policy. Cargoes are quiet. Argentine shipments. are offering freely. Little Australian, spot, is obtainable, and is nominally 38s. New Zealand is exhausted. Flour—The market is dull. There is a retail demand for Australian, spot, at 26s 6d to 276. A January shipment is quoted at 24s 9d to 255, c.i.f. ■'.-:.-•.■ OTHER PRODUCE. OatEH-There is practically nothing doing in the market, and prices are easier. Beans—The market is steady ' and quiet. New Zealand 36s 6d, ex 6tore.
