CLEARING SALE AT SPRINGSTON.
Tho New Zealand Farmers' Co-opera-tive Association, in conjunction -with Messrs H. Matson and Company, held a clearing sale at Springston on Thursday, on account of Mr Gcorgo Trott. The chief lots sold, as follows:—60 ewes and 68 lambs (all counted),'at 9s 6d; 45 ewes and 53 lambs (all counted), at 8s M ; 31 owes and 27 lambs (all counted), at 9s 3d; 9 ewes and 11 lambs (all counted), at 7s 9(1; 36 ewes in lamb, 14s 7d; • 14 fat ewes, 13s 4d; springing heifers, £8, £6; springers, £6, £5 15s; milch cows. £2 2s 6d, £2 10s, £4 os; fnt heifer, £8 ss: two-year-old steer, £4 2s; yearlings, 465; draught mares, Bgs, 22igs, 23igs, 33gs; draught gelding, 30gs; trap horse, IHgs; three-year-old unbroken filly, £22; three-year-old unbroken colt. £17 10s; yearl»n«r fillies, £12 10s. £17 10s; two-year-old light colt, £12.
