Bain had deadened the tracks against fast times. Vice-Admiral did a round in 2min 24sec, • the last six furlongs tcking lmin 23sec, in convincing style. Jecamar ran a I mile and a quarter in 2min 20s cc. Loe I Angelos, after slow work, did cix furlongs 'in lmin 20eee. Lady Lucy, shaping well, did a mile and a quarter in 2min 20isec. Lady Medallist, taking things easily, went six foxlongs in lmin 22sec. Broadsword, who was below top form, did a mile in lmin SOJecc Sunlike epturted five furlongs in lmin Bsec. Aphoea and Culprit went a similar journey in lmin 9isec. Midnight Sun. ran » mile in Imin 50sec. Full Sail went seven furlongs in lmin 323e0.
