FITZGERALD'S CIRCUS.
There was even a larger attendance-last night at the circus than on the opening night. Thanke to the excellent arrangements made by Mr Fitzgerald and Mr Yon tier Mehden, the manager, the large crowd was handled most effectively. Ihe programme was repeated most successfully. The clever act of Madame Onra on the wire was deservedly enthusiastically applauded, as was also the act with the performing dogs; which Iβ decidedly one of the beet of the kind ever seen hero. Dr. Gordon introduced a remarkable feat into his exhibition of strength, that of taking a pony up with one hand, and holding the horse at arm's length. His juggling with the heavy weights was also well done. Mdlle. Millie Dagmar and her terriers received quite an ovation, as diil also the (Flying Meteors, and their bar performances. All the other items, including the act by the musical clown, aud the riding of Miss Kate Montgomery, were well received. This afternoon, at 2.30, the first matinee will be given, hi additioa to the üßual evening performance.
