LODGE MEETINGS.
The Dauntless Lodge, 1.0.G.T.. heW its usual weekly session on Friday last, the C.T., Bro. Parker, presiding, when a Urge amount of routine busiaess was got through. Two candidates were initiated, and others proposed for membership. On Wednesday evening last the members paid a surprise official visit to the Sea Shell Lodge, Lyttelton. A good muster of officers, &c, attended. The visitors were received most kindly and hospitably by their Port friends, the result being that a pleasant and profitable meeting waa brought to a close. The Hope of Christchurch Lodge, 1.0. G.T., held its weekly meeting on Thursday last. One member waa admitted from Ashburton on clearance card, after business was over. The amunement called the question box was indulged, at which the members seemed highly delighted. Bro. E. Long, C.T., closed the Lodge in due form at 9.30.
