Royal Pkincess' TnEATRE.—TIie new play of tlie Irish Emigrant, which was placed on the stage lost night was deserving of a better filled house than it received. The part taken by Mr. Shiel Barry was decidedly the best that we have yet seen him in ; his acting as the half-famished Irishman out of work was admirable, and the piece had the further attraction of being free from any "inuendos" which have shocked any one within the Theatre. The comedy of Xaval Engagements has been already several times acted, but appeared to have lost none of its attractions for the public. We have been wondering for some time at tbe continued absence of Miss Aitkeu, attributing it to the rest which we were sure she needed after her sustained efforts to give pleasure to tho public. The fact of her indisposition has taken us by surprise, and it only remains for us to say, that we shall welcome her return with great pleasure. The Towy Hall.—We call the attention of shareholders in the Town Hall to a meeting to be he'd within the building at 7 o'clock this evening, to consider the expediency of forming the shareholders into a joint-stock company, with the power of borrowing money on security of the property. Tlie attendance of the trustees, managing committee, and shareholders is particularly requested.
