Sheep Fair.
At Buckland's sheep sale 7,600 shepp were sold. Tho rams were of better quality than last year. Middleton and McMcol's flocks fetched the best prices. Fat cattle in full supply, 28s per lODlbs; fat sheep, dull> at low pricesfrbm 2d to 2_d per lb. John Reed, farmer, Mangere,. has been fined £50 for having scabby sheep on his land. The Open Sailing Boat Race iv the Regatta causes a great talk ; quite a dozen boats are being built with the object of beating the Brothers.
