At Wellington, on February sth, ran second with Bst 91b in the Welter Handicap, one mile and a half ; won by Leon, 9st ; time, 2min. 45sec. Same day wan the Stewards' Handicap, a mile and a quarter, 7st 4lbs, beating Rumor, 7st lllbs^ 2nd ; Salvage, Bst4lbs 3rd. Time2min. 14sec. At Marlborougb, Feb. 24th, won the Cup, carrying 7st 31 bs ; Alpine Rose 2nd, 7st slbs3 Refrigerator, 7st 41bs ; two miles; time, 3min. 44sec.
