QUEER AFFAIR.
1^ Sydney, Oct. 16, In the year 1864 Dr Drummond, an English medical practitioner, had his diplomas stolen, and most searching enquiries failed to secure the recovery of the missing documents. For some years past a dooior of th© same name has enjoyed a lucrative practice in the town of Ashfield, New South Wales, on the surburban railway line, but in some minds there have been doubts as to his boiia fides. The Medical Board of the colony, afler making the necessary inquiry, summoned this Dr Drummond before them, but since their invitation was issued the pseudo medico has been missing, and it alleged that he has decamped with £6000, a portion of a legacy left to hfc wife .
