JUDGMENT SUMMONSES. Anderson y. Adrain.-- -£23 15s. -Mr Loughnan for judgment debtor; Mr Sheath for the creditor. After a "somewhat lengthy examination of the debtor, as to his means, the creditor failed to obtain an order. On an offer of the debtor to pay £1 10s the case was adjourned till 28th September to give him an opportunity of proving himself able and willing to do so. A. Nannestad v. Lycett and Cross, —£25 13s Id. Mr Loughman appeared for the judgment debtors, and explained that they already had so many orders against them that anything more than £2 per month would mean imprisonment. The judgment creditor pointed . out the length of time which had lapsed since judgment was obtained, and pressed for an order. Ordered to pay the amount, with costs of Cour*-, £1 2s, plaintiff's expenses, 10s, at the rate of £3 per month, first payment to be due on the 31st July next ; failing one or any of the payments the whole to become due : in default 14 days' imprisonment in Napier gaol. Gammon,— £3l 6s lid, for meat supplied. Mr Sheath for plaintiff, Mr Gould for plaintiff. The defence was that summons, had been issued against the wrong party. Gammon had been supplied, but claimed that it was on behalf of K. F. Mortensen. Defendant failed to prove that he had notified plaintiff to that effect ; a letter was also produced from him, wherein he made an offer to pay himself. Judgment for plaintiff, with costs of Court, £1 15s ; plaintiff's and witnesses expenses, £1 4s ; solicitors fee, £2 2s. T. Nelson, and 0. Olsen v.— Karl Schmidt, — £40 2s 4d, for work done. Mr Sheath for plantiff. The defendant wanted an adjournment to be able to put in a set-off. It was ultimately arranged that judgment should be entered up for plaintiff for the full amount, with costs of Court £1 17s; witnesses expenses, £% 8s; solicitors' fee, £2 2s ; but that execution should be suspended till next Court day, Bth August. The Court then adjourned till that ■day.
