A COLONEL'S DAUGHTER CHARGED WITH MURDER.
Miss Bellina Prior, daughter of the late Colonel Prior, was on Tuesday arrested at the residence of her mother, Vicar's Hall, Armagh, and charged before the magistrates "with having drowned Ann Slavin, aged three years. The evidence showed that Miss Prior enticed the child into her house, gave it sweetmeats, and then drowned it in the kitchen boiler. Prisoner said she committed the crime because she was .treated unkindly at home, and she did- not careit^He were hanged, She was remanded.
