A CHARITY OR NOT ?
LEAGUE OF NATIONS UNION. (P.A.) DUNEDIN, this day. An action relating to the will of Mr. H. K. Wilkinson, of Dunedin, who left gifts to various institutions, was heard in the Supreme Court before Mr. Justice Kennedy. Legal argument as to whether the League of Nations Union of New Zealand is a charity is the main bone of contention, it being for the Commissioner of Stamps tliat the union is a political body. (Proceeding.)
