PATRIOTIC COUNCIL. CLUB EQUIPMENT ISSUE. (P.A.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Wellington Provincial Patriotic Council to-day rejected an application l>y the I'pper Hutt R.S.A. for a pound for pound «ul>sid,v for a clubroom to be used for entertaining soldiers from Trentliani. on the "round that calls upon its funds for overseas patriotic purposes were, too great and urgent to permit this. A similar refusal met a request for a furniture jrrant for the ciubroom at Bulk visited by Air Force men at Ohakea.
