Japanese Allege Indo-China-Thailand Clash. INVASION REPULSED. (Reed. 1.30 p.m.) HONGKONG, Not. 2U. The Hanoi correspondent of the Japanese Domei news agency says that after spirited fighting the Imlo China forces repulsed the invading Thailand troops beyond the frontier line on Sunday morning near Waboware. Thailand troops, near Wabowarc. which i« 100 kilometres south-west of Battambang. in Western Cambodia, started brisk activity and penetrated into Ca.mbodia a-cross the boundary on Saturday last. Indo-Chinese forces immediately engaged them. Previous reports from Japanese sources of fighting between Thailand and Japanese forces have been consistently denied and it has been suggested that the reports have been spread m the hope of stirring up strife between the two neighbouring countries.
