SEAFARERS AND PRIESTS. ACTION IN WELLINGTON. (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Tho Manpower Committee to-day granted adjournment* sine die in 6S cases of seafaring men drawn for territorial service. Sixty-two were employees of the Union Steamship Company, five of the Holm Shipping Company and one of the Anchor Company. The appeals were all by employers, and carried the endorsement of the Shipowners' Federation, where such was necessary. Adjouriment# were also made sine die in the case* of 32 priests, Mariat brothers and others in Holy Orders, and si.me members of other religious organisations, including the residential secretary of the Y.M.C.A., Wellington
