INQUEST OPENED.
ELDERLY WOMAN'S DEATH. An inquest was opened this morninw by the coroner, Mr. F. K. Hunt, into the death of Mrs. Marjorie Cockbill, an elderly woman, who was found in a eemi-conscious condition in her bedroom at 23, Nelson Street, yesterday morning at three o'clock. She died shortly after admission to the Auckland Hospital. Evidence of identification only was taken this morning.
