SNOOKER TOURNAMENT.
The Auckland provincial open championship tourney was continued at Barton McGills Billiard Hall on Saturday evening, when Whyle defeated Spalding by two straight games, 70—30, and 70—34. In the second match. Miller defeated Proctor, the scores being 33—41, 58—24, 46—38 The games to be played this evening are: W H Woods v. K. Tate, 7 p.m.; W. Gussey v. R. Nixon, R. Sommervel v. J. Baelo
