CARD AFTERNOON HELD.
There waa a fair attendance at the monthly card afternoon held by the Otahuhu branch of the Plunket Society in the Kingsford Hall.
" The /winner 500 was ' M*». Turner, and Mrs;'Btatham was successful in the bridge section. Mrs. F. W. Grey won the competition.
Among those present were: Mesdanies T. J. Mclvor (president), C. E. Turner (secretary), M. Constance (treasurer), H. T. Clements, Kelly, R. B. Todd, N. Walters, Rule, Pierce G. Boswell, J. Jackson, Matthews, \V. Payne, Patton, Everitt, Knowles, A. McLaren, Cowper, J. E. Gilliee, Grey, Statham, and Miss Lippiatt.
