TE RAPA TRIALS.

HUNTING BLOOD'S THREE. SUNNY DOWNS AND RACECAMP. (By Telegraph—Special to "Star.") HAMILTON, this day. Conditions were pleasant at Te Rapa this morning when the course proper, Soft out, provided good going, although the surface was slightly dead after recent rain. Several useful efforts were recorded, although there was little of outstanding merit, the best being a smart sprint by Hunting Blood. Sunny Downs and Racecamp also shaped well over six furlongs. Mio Gcnerale (O. Mclnally) and Respectful were associated over six furlongs run in 1.24 3-5, their last half mile in 59 2-ss. Both horses were under a nice hold and pleased by the manner in which lhey revelled in their work. Respectful is to have his iirst race after a spell, at Cambridge on Monday. Royal Bachelor was worked steadilv on the inner track and looks none the worse for his racing at Ellerslie. Hunting Blood - (Rhind) dashed homo from the three furlongs post in 37 l-ss. Ho was carrying a light weight, but considering the distance the flags were out. it was a smart effort 011 the part of Carroll's charge, who should strip well for the open sprint at Cambridge. Silyeyor (Thomson) and Surtoy (O. Mclnally) ran two furlongs along the back in 255. Surpass and Kingcraft ran down the straight and hit out pleasingly. Sunny Downs (Thomson) and Racecamp (O. Mclnally), after cutting out their first two furlongs in 25 1-.ts, ran six furlongs in 1.22. They were doing their work well at the end and are making good progress.

Poland (Telford) tind Acreman (J. IkInally) ran home from the half-mile post in s(js, and Classic (Hain) ran the filial six of seven furlongs in 1.24 1-5. He is I>earin« a heaLthy appearance. Starbright (.T. Mdnally) and Commemoration (Winderl ran half a mile, but were not timed. Trig Station (Thomson) and Karatoki (Gollop) were responsible for a useful effort over half a mile, cutting out" the distance in Both appear 'to be on the upgrade. Lady Bloater, by Tnfla-tion--Eel Spear, and Kalletopea. by Hunting Song—ln Arms, were associated over three furlongs in 38 l-ss. Requiem (Hain) drew clear over the deciding stages of a round to account' for Oalshot (J. McTnally), Gaine's Choice (Winder) and Te Poura (Priest), Calshot being timed to cover the distance in 2.12. Raceline sprinted up the straight, and Xgawiri (Elisor) ran five furlongs in 1.7%. Young Pnddon CConroy), after running his first quarter brilliantly in 24%5. covered three furlongs in 38 4-ss. He looks in good order for his engagement' at Cambridge, and in the event of further rain falling his prospects will be enhanced. Ladv Waimai (Gollop) accounted for Diversity (Long) and Hekra (Brown) over half a mile in 54 1-os, Lady Waimai disclosing early brilliance to establish a break of half a dozen lengths on her companions within a furlong.

Gai lie's Choice (Winder) and Rothoon (C. L. GouTsbro) were companions in a schooling bour over two hurdles. The latter risked the second, but made a good recovery. Gaine's Choice sharped satisfactorilv. and is not without prospects at Cambridge.

Olympus and Beau "Repaire are expected bar-k from Australia this week.
