Soviet Army Of Occupation
In Poland.
NAZI PROPORTION OF PEOPLE. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, October 18. The Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs. Mr. R. A. Butler, said in the House of Commons that Soviet troops occupy 8000 square miles of Poland, west of the Curzon line.
Districts of Poland occupied by Germany contained 17,230,000 Poles, and those by Russia 4,750,000, on the basis of the 1931 census.
