PRICEB IN WELLINGTON. Prices of fruit and vegetables in the Wellington markets this week are quoted as follows:— Apples: Sturmers, 8/6 to 11/6 a bushel' case; Delicious, 7/6 to 17/; Granny Smith, 16/ to 17/9; Rome Beauty, 10/ to 13/9. Pears: Winter Coles, 14/ to 17/6 per three-quarter case; Winter Nelis, 12/ to 15/; P. Barry, 10/ to 12/3. Passion fruit: 7/ to 15/ per half case. Tomatoes: Hothouse, 2/4 to 2/10 per lb; grapefruit, New Zealand, 7/5 to 15/ a bushel case. Potatoes: 14/ to 21/ a cwt. New potatoes. 3%d to 4V4d per lb. Green peas, 9d to lOd per lb. Asparagus: 7d to 1/1 per bunch. Celery, 5/ to 8/ a case; swedes, 2/ to 5/ a case; leeks, 1/6 to 2/6 a case; lettuce, 1/ to 4/ a case. Cabbage: Spring. 2/ to 2/5 a case; cauliflowers, 3/ to 7/ a sack; pumpkins, Triumble, 40/6 a sack; silver beet, 9d to 2/6 a case: carrots, 10/ to 27/6 a case; spinach, 2/6 to 7/ a case; parsnips, 5/ to 9/ a case; beetroot, 6/ to 10/ a case; rhubarb, new season's, 4/ to 10/ a dozen I bunches.
