Recent Wedding.

CHRISTIANSEN—HINGLEY.

' St. Barnabas' Church, beautifully decorated by friends of the bride, wae the scene of a very pretty wedding last Wednesday, when Miss Violet Maude "Hingley was married to Mr. Vernon Charles Christiansen.

The bride, gowned in a lovely frock of ivory satin, was given away by her father. Her simply cut frock fell in a Ion;: train, and her tulle veil, held in place by a wreath of orange blossoms, fell in graceful folds, forming a second train. She carried a sheaf of white cactus dahlias, lilies and carnations.

The bride was attended by three bridesmaids, Misses Mollie and Nancye Hingley, skstere of the bride, and Miee Margaret Bambury. They wore dainty frocks of pastel green silk chiffon. The frocks were made in early Victorian style, with heart-shaped necks. The maids wore wreaths of tiny green rosebuds in their hair, and each carried a sheaf of pale pink caotue dahlias and lilies.

The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Sanders as best man. and Mr. J. Richards and Mr. H. Hingley, jun., as groomsmen. Usher* at the church were Messrs. W. and L. Keen. A solo was siing by Miss Mawhinney. •

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Crystal Palace ballroom. Mrs. Hingley received her guest? wearing a frock of nattier blue lace and georgette, and a shoulder spray of apricot roses. Mrs. Chrietiansen. mother of the bridegroom, «vore a frock of blue georgette and a spray of pink roses.

After the wedding breakfast 200 guests danced till midnight. Prizes wore given for the spot waltz and Monte Carlo. The evening finished with tinsinging of "Auld Lang Syne."
