The guides of Mount Eden district have been very busy over the past few weeks, selling tickets for the selection of their queen, who was duly crowned amid pomp and ceremony at a garden party and queen carnival held on Saturday afternoon.
Mrs. Rudd," St. Leonard's Road, very kindly lent her- garden for the pleasing function'. A brownie fairy queen also entered her kingdom at the same time.
